Skimmer will tell you what happened at your pools. ProValet already did something about it.
Conversational analytics answer questions. ProValet's automation closes the loop — scheduling, dispatch, invoicing, payment, and the customer text that goes out before you've looked at a dashboard.

Credit Where It's Due
Skimmer is a serious product built by pool pros for pool pros, and 2026 made it more serious. AI Insights lets an owner ask plain-English questions of their own data — profitability, chemical usage, skipped stops, future work, abnormal readings — and get an answer without building a report. Direct Heritage ordering ties procurement to customers, quotes, and work orders, which is real cost control that most field service platforms, ProValet included, don't offer today. Chemical tracking remains excellent. The mobile interface is clean. Support picks up the phone.
If you're running 40 pools and what you need is a better view of your own operation, Skimmer is a good answer and we'll tell you so on the call.
The question is what happens at 80 pools. Then 150. Because at that size, the constraint stops being what do I know and becomes how much of this has to pass through me.
Answers vs. Action
Take a skipped stop.
In Skimmer, you can ask AI Insights which stops were skipped last week and get a clean answer. You still have to decide who to reschedule, tell the customer, adjust the route, and make sure it gets billed correctly.
In ProValet, the skip triggers the sequence. The customer gets notified. The stop lands back on the route. The billing follows the work. You find out it happened because the loop already closed, not because you thought to ask.
Same pattern everywhere:
| The question a dashboard answers | The work that still has to happen |
|---|---|
| Which routes are unprofitable? | Reprice, resequence, or drop the accounts |
| Which stops got missed? | Notify, reschedule, adjust billing |
| Which invoices are unpaid? | Chase, remind, collect |
| Which customers haven't heard from us? | Write and send the message |
Analytics move the work from unknown to known. They don't move it off your desk. The difference shows up in your week, not your dashboard: a report you have to act on is still a task, and tasks are what stop owners from getting past 100 pools without hiring an office manager.

The Scaling Question
Skimmer's per-pool pricing means your cost grows with every customer you add. ProValet's doesn't.
On per-pool pricing, your 150th account carries the same recurring fee as your 50th. ProValet's flat per-tech pricing means the 150th pool costs nothing extra. Growth improves your margin instead of buying it back.
Skimmer's Scaling Up tier moved from $1 to $2 per pool — a 100% increase. Your route grew, your rate doubled, and neither was your decision. Flat per-tech pricing doesn't have that failure mode.
A web portal is a place customers go when they remember to. An app tells them you're on the way. That difference is where referrals come from.
Homeowner App + AutoPay + instant invoicing means customers pay the day of service, not 14 days later. Cash flow transforms overnight.
The hardest part was saying yes. After that, everything was easy. Onboarding took three days. The thing that surprised us? Our customers actually like us more now — they can see exactly what we did at their pool before we even leave the driveway.

Worth Asking
Not trying to sell you anything yet. Just questions worth sitting with.
After AI Insights tells you what happened, how much of your week goes to acting on it?
Better answers are worth having. But a report you still have to act on is a task with extra steps. Ask how many of the things you now know still land on your desk to do. ProValet's bet is that the answer is most of them.
Could you scale 50% more pools tomorrow without adding office staff?
Per-pool pricing means growth adds cost, not just revenue. ProValet's flat per-tech pricing and automation mean adding pools improves your margin instead of eroding it.
What did your per-pool rate do this year, and what will it do next year?
Skimmer's Scaling Up tier doubled from $1 to $2 per pool. If your pricing is indexed to your growth, every new customer is partly your software vendor's. Flat per-tech pricing prices your capacity, not your success.
Does your current system actively improve your margins, or just describe them?
Knowing which routes lose money is the first half. Repricing, resequencing, and rebilling them is the half that changes the number. ProValet's route optimization and Active Invoicing™ do work; a dashboard reports on work.
If you added a Homeowner App tomorrow, would your customers pay faster, refer more, and call less?
Customers with visibility into their service pay same-day instead of in 14 days, call less because they already know what's happening, and refer more because the experience feels premium. ProValet ships this as standard.
